PetClinic was founded in autumn 2014 by **Dr. Eleni Vassilakou**, a Thessaloniki-trained veterinarian, and her partner **Dr. Marios Andronikos**, a small-animal surgeon who completed his residency at the Royal Veterinary College in London. The clinic occupies a quiet ground-floor space on Plastira Square in Pangrati, a five-minute walk from the National Garden, with a separate cat-only waiting area, two consulting rooms named after their first two patients (Loukoumi and Pixie), and a small surgery suite with digital dental radiography. The original idea came from Eleni's frustration during her city-centre internship: pet owners would arrive in tears, hand over their dog or cat, and leave the clinic with no idea what had happened or what came next.
